What we promise, in full
One guarantee — 90-day SEO performance — and one commitment: 99.9% hosting uptime. Both are stated here so you can read them before you commit, not after something goes wrong. We have called them what they are rather than labelling both a guarantee.
The 90-day SEO performance guarantee
If your rankings or organic traffic have not measurably improved within 90 days of your campaign starting, we keep working at no charge until they do. Measured in your own Google Search Console and GA4 accounts, against a baseline we agree before we start.
Why we do not guarantee rankings
Plenty of agencies promise page one. Nobody can honestly promise that, because nobody outside Google controls the ranking algorithm, and it changes constantly. A guarantee about something you cannot influence is not a guarantee — it is a sales line, and under Australian Consumer Law it is a misleading representation.
What we can stand behind is that our work produces measurable improvement. That is what this guarantee covers.
What we measure
One of the following must improve. Not both — either is enough:
- Average ranking position across the agreed target keywords, read from Google Search Console.
- Organic sessions, read from GA4.
How we measure it
- Baseline: the 30 days immediately before your campaign start date, recorded and sent to you in writing before we begin.
- Comparison: days 61 to 90 of the campaign.
- Source: your own Google Search Console and GA4 properties. You have access throughout; we do not report from tools only we can see.
- Keywords: agreed in writing at the start. We do not swap in easier ones later.
What happens if we miss it
We continue working your campaign at no charge until the improvement is achieved. You stop paying monthly fees from day 91 until the measured target is met. This is continued work rather than a refund — if you would prefer to stop instead, tell us and we will have that conversation honestly rather than hold you to it.
Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply where the work could not be done as agreed. Specifically:
- Recommended on-page changes were not approved or implemented within a reasonable time.
- Content we produced was not published, or was materially changed without discussion.
- We were not given the access required — Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics, or the website itself.
- The site was redesigned, migrated or restructured during the period by someone else.
- The site or Google Business Profile received a manual action for something done before we started, or by another party.
- The business changed name, address, category or service area mid-campaign.
- The campaign was paused, or fees went unpaid, during the 90 days.
None of these are gotchas. Each is a situation where we were prevented from doing the work you paid for, and we will raise any of them with you at the time rather than producing them at day 90.
The 99.9% uptime commitment
Separate to the SEO guarantee above, and it applies to sites on our managed hosting. 99.9% of a 30-day month allows for about 43 minutes of unplanned downtime.
- How it is measured: external uptime monitoring checks your homepage every few minutes from outside our network. Two consecutive failed checks start counting downtime; the first successful check ends it.
- What does not count: planned maintenance we notify you about in advance, downtime caused by your own code or plugins, an expired domain, a third-party service your site depends on, or a DDoS attack absorbed upstream.
- If we miss it: we tell you what happened and what we changed so it does not happen again. Being straight with you about it is the commitment — there is no automatic credit or refund attached, and we are not going to imply one.
We will not pretend any host is immune to downtime, and we are not going to dress a target up as a guarantee. What we will do is monitor it from outside our own network and tell you when it happens, rather than hoping you do not notice.
Your rights either way
This guarantee is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them. Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing on this page reduces those rights.
The SEO performance guarantee attaches to the local SEO service, whether you buy it on its own or bundled with something else. It does not attach to a website build, including a website paid for monthly on a payment plan. The uptime commitment applies to sites on our managed hosting. Terms are confirmed in writing in your service agreement before your campaign starts — if anything here differs from that agreement, the agreement applies.
