Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains how PC Madness Pty Ltd (ABN 69 116 156 926), trading as PC Madness Web Services (“we”, “us”), handles personal information collected through https://perth-webdesigns.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- the size of your business (a staff-count range);
- the services you indicate interest in;
- a rough budget and timeline, if you choose one;
- any project details you choose to write; and
- which page of the site you submitted the form from.
If you ask us to email you the website checklist or an audit report, we collect only your email address and which page you asked from. Nothing else is required and nothing else is stored.
Those addresses are kept in the same enquiry database as everything else on this page, they are not added to any marketing list, and they are never rented, sold or shared. Ask us and we will delete yours — you do not have to explain why.
To stop spam and abuse, we also record your IP address when you submit a form or use one of the free tools on this site. It is used only to limit repeated attempts, and records older than a day are routinely deleted.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive information such as health, financial account or government identifier details through this form.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and provide the services you ask for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
3. How it is stored
Enquiries are stored in a database on our hosting infrastructure and a notification is emailed to our team. The database is held outside the publicly accessible area of the web server. Access is restricted to authorised staff, each with their own password-protected account, and multi-factor authentication is available on every account.
4. Third parties
This website uses a small number of third-party services:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security filtering, and the Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request metadata.
- Google Maps — the map embedded on our contact page is served by Google.
- Our email provider — used to deliver the enquiry notification to us.
Some of these providers process data outside Australia. We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on this website. If that changes, this page will be updated before it goes live.
5. Cookies
This site uses browser local storage to remember your light or dark theme preference. Cloudflare may set security cookies to filter malicious traffic. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email web@pcmadness.com.au or call 08 6323 2970. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, contact us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Data breaches
If a breach of personal information occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess it against the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and notify affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
