Websites for Perth civil
that survive a prequal check.

Nobody wins a civil contract from a website, and any agency that tells you otherwise has never read a tender. What the website does is decide whether you make the shortlist. A principal contractor, a developer or a council officer has your name from somewhere, searches it, and spends ninety seconds working out whether you have the plant, the insurances and the track record for the job in front of them. If the site cannot answer that, the next name on the list can.

What is costing you work right now

  • No plant list anywhere, so a buyer cannot tell whether you can even mobilise for their job.
  • Insurances, licences and safety systems live in a PDF nobody opens, or nowhere at all.
  • Past projects shown as photos with no scope, no scale and no client type — which proves nothing to someone sizing you up.

The searches that bring you jobs

Not all traffic is equal. These are the ones worth building pages for.

Search What it means
civil contractors perth Broad and competitive, but the buyers are qualified. Worth ranking for slowly.
bulk earthworks perth Project-scale work. Fewer searches, far higher value each.
excavator hire with operator perth Wet-hire intent. Converts fast and often becomes repeat work.
site preparation cost perth Early-stage developer or builder. Gets you in before the tender exists.
[suburb] earthmoving contractors Proximity is a real cost in civil, so buyers genuinely search by area.

What we build into every civil contractor website

A real plant and equipment register

Machines, sizes, attachments, tilt buckets, float capacity. This is the single most-read page on a civil website and most contractors do not have one. It answers the buyer's actual question: can you do my job.

A capability statement people can download

One PDF, current, on the site rather than emailed on request. Buyers forward it internally — that is how you get in front of the person who actually decides.

Prequalification and insurances up front

Public liability, plant and equipment cover, workers comp currency, safety management system, any panel or prequal status. Stated plainly, not buried.

Projects described, not just photographed

Scope, volume, duration, client type, constraint you worked around. A photo of a trench proves nothing; "3,200m³ bulk excavation on a live site over nine days" proves a great deal.

An enquiry form that captures scope

Job type, location, approximate volume, timeframe, whether drawings exist. A form that only asks for a name means every enquiry costs you a phone call before you know if it is worth quoting.

Questions civil contractors ask us

Is a website worth it when all our work comes through tenders and relationships?
That is exactly when it is worth it. Tender and referral work both involve somebody searching your name before a decision — a procurement officer checking you are real, a principal contractor confirming you can handle the scale. The website is not generating the lead; it is stopping you from losing one you already had.
What should be on a civil contractor website that usually is not?
The plant register and a downloadable capability statement. Between them they answer the two questions every buyer has, and most contractor sites answer neither. Everything else — the about page, the values, the stock photography — is a distant second.
Should we publish rates?
Not hourly rates, because the work is not standardised enough and you would be quoting against your own worst-case job. What does work is publishing shape: typical project sizes you take on, minimum engagement, what mobilisation involves. Buyers are trying to work out if you are their scale, and silence makes them guess wrong.
We are an Aboriginal-owned or Supply Nation registered business. Does that belong on the site?
Prominently, yes. Indigenous procurement targets are written into a great many WA government and principal-contractor contracts, so it is a genuine commercial qualification rather than a values statement. Put the registration where a procurement officer will find it in seconds, not in a paragraph on the about page.
