Websites for Perth painters
where the gallery does the selling.

Painting is the most visual trade there is and the most commonly sold with stock photography. Nobody hires a painter because the site said “quality workmanship, competitive rates”. They hire the one whose gallery shows a tired 1970s brick house in a suburb they recognise, and the same house afterwards. Everything else on the site exists to answer the questions they will not ring up and ask: how much mess, how long in my house, and do I have to move the furniture.

What is costing you work right now

  • Stock photos of a smiling painter with a roller. Every competitor has the same three, and the customer has seen them.
  • After shots with no before shot, which proves nothing — a freshly painted wall looks the same whoever painted it.
  • Nothing about dust, masking, access or how long you will be on site, which is what an interior customer is actually worried about.
  • Interior and exterior sold on one page, when they are two different jobs at two different prices bought by people in two different moods.

The searches that bring you jobs

Not all traffic is equal. These are the ones worth building pages for.

Search What it means
house painters perth Broad and competitive. Worth ranking for, slowly, and rarely where the first job comes from.
interior painters [suburb] Where the money is. Suburb-level, high intent, and winnable with a real page.
exterior house painting perth cost Mid-research. Perth sun destroys exterior paint faster than most of the country, so this is a repeat purchase and people know it.
render painting perth An enormous share of Perth housing stock is rendered, and rendered walls are their own job with their own products.
strata painting perth Repeat commercial work with a committee making the decision. Different page, different proof, much higher lifetime value.
roof painting perth Overlaps with roof restoration and is worth claiming deliberately rather than by accident.

What we build into every painter website

A gallery built as pairs

Before and after, same frame, side by side, with the suburb and the substrate named. This is the whole website. If we build you nothing else, build this — twelve honest pairs beats four hundred words of copy about attention to detail.

The mess-and-disruption page

Masking, drop sheets, whether you move furniture or they do, how you handle dust in occupied rooms, and how the site looks at the end of each day. Interior customers care more about this than about the paint, and almost no painter addresses it, so the one who does reads as the professional.

Honest durations, per job type

A three-bedroom interior takes this long. A double-storey render exterior takes this long. Wet weather does this to the schedule. People are arranging their lives around you and vagueness here is what makes them ring the next painter.

Preparation, argued rather than claimed

Everyone says preparation matters. Show it: what you do about chalking on a west-facing wall after fifteen Perth summers, how you treat a rendered surface differently from fibro, when a full sand-back is genuinely needed and when it is a way of inflating a quote. This is the page that justifies being dearer than the cheapest quote.

Strata and commercial kept separate

A strata committee needs insurance currencies, references, a staged program and after-hours capability. A homeowner needs the gallery. Putting both on one page weakens both, and the strata work is the half with the repeat revenue.

Questions painters ask us

What actually makes a painting website win the job?
The gallery, and it is not close. Before-and-after pairs of real Perth houses, with the suburb named, do more work than every other page combined. The reason is that painting is the one trade where the customer can genuinely judge the result from a photo, so a real photo is proof in a way that no amount of writing is. Twelve good pairs is plenty. Four hundred mediocre photos is worse than twelve.
Should I publish prices?
A per-square-metre range or typical whole-job figures, with the variables stated. Painting prices swing on substrate, condition, ceiling height, access and how many colours — but a range with those caveats still tells somebody whether you are in their world. The painters who publish nothing get rung by people who want the cheapest quote, because price is all those people can compare.
Nobody asks me about dust and furniture. Why put it on the site?
They do not ask you, they ask themselves, and then they ring the painter whose site already answered it. Having a stranger in the house for a week is the real barrier to an interior job, particularly for older customers and anyone working from home. Saying plainly how you mask, whether you move furniture, and what the place looks like at knock-off removes more friction than any discount.
Do I need separate pages for interior and exterior?
Yes, because they are bought differently. Exterior is usually a maintenance decision made when the west wall starts chalking, and the searcher is price-anchored and comparing. Interior is often emotional and tied to selling, renovating or moving in, and the gallery matters far more than the number. One page trying to do both does neither well and ranks for neither term.
Is it worth having a page for rendered homes?
In Perth, genuinely yes. A very large share of the housing stock here is rendered, render behaves differently from brick or fibro, and people search for it specifically because they have been told by somebody that it needs a particular product. A page that explains how you prepare and coat render will rank with almost no competition and it signals that you know the local housing stock, which is worth more than it sounds.
