City of Swan 5 minutes from our Midland shopfront

Web design in Bellevue,
five minutes down the road.

Bellevue is the next suburb east of Midland, and it is where a lot of the east-corridor workshops actually sit — an even mix of industrial, residential and the parkland running along the Helena River. We are five minutes away on Stafford Street, which means meeting in person is genuinely easy here rather than a thing we say on every page.

Doing business in Bellevue

What makes Bellevue commercially different from Midland is the hill. The suburb sits at the foot of the Darling Scarp with Greenmount above it, so it is the last flat ground before the climb. That puts your natural catchment in two directions at once: west into Midland and the Swan Valley, and east and up into Greenmount, Koongamia, Swan View, Darlington, Glen Forrest and Mundaring.

The hills half of that catchment is worth more than most local businesses treat it as. Those suburbs have limited trade services of their own, residents come down the hill for them, and almost nobody builds a page that says so. The Metronet railcar facility that opened here in 2021 has also put a serious industrial anchor in the suburb, with the supplier and contractor traffic that comes with one.

What actually matters for a Bellevue website

Two catchments, one page each

Midland and the valley to the west, the hills to the east. They search differently and they are different jobs. One page trying to serve both wins neither.

The hills are under-served

Greenmount, Swan View, Koongamia, Darlington, Glen Forrest. Residents come down the scarp for trade services and very few businesses have written a page aimed at them.

Workshops, not shopfronts

Much of Bellevue is light industrial off Great Eastern Highway and the rail reserve. If customers cannot simply walk in, the website has to do the work the window would have done.

Bellevue questions

Can we meet in person if I am in Bellevue?
Easily — the PC Madness shopfront on Stafford Street in Midland is about five minutes away. Our designers work from home rather than from the shop, so we can meet you there, at your workshop, or over a coffee, whichever is least disruptive to your day.
Should I target Bellevue or Midland in my website copy?
Both, and the hills as well. Bellevue on its own is a small search volume, but it sits between two much larger catchments. The pages that work here target the corridor — Midland, Bellevue, Greenmount and up the hill — rather than the single suburb the business happens to be registered in.
Is it worth building pages for the hills suburbs?
For a trade business, yes. Greenmount, Swan View, Darlington, Glen Forrest and Mundaring are genuinely under-served, the competition for those searches is thin, and the jobs are real. The rule is the same as everywhere: a real page per suburb with something true on it, not five copies with the name swapped.
Which council do I deal with in Bellevue?
The City of Swan covers most of it, with part of the suburb falling into the Shire of Mundaring as you head towards the scarp. Worth confirming for your own address if you do work that needs approvals, and worth naming on the site either way.
