City of Stirling 25 minutes from our Midland shopfront

Web design in Stirling,
for trades working in people’s houses.

One of our designers lives in Stirling, so meeting for a coffee here is genuinely easy rather than a favour. To be straight about it: that is a home, not an office — PC Madness has one address and it is the Midland shopfront. What Stirling is, commercially, is the residential half of a council area whose commercial half gets all the attention. Behind the Scarborough Beach Road strip sit Balcatta, Karrinyup, Innaloo, Gwelup and Dianella: thousands of houses of a certain age, and the trades that keep them standing.

Doing business in Stirling

Most of the searching that happens here is a homeowner on a phone in their own kitchen, not a buyer comparing showrooms. That changes what the website has to do. Nobody is driving to you; they are deciding whether to let you into the house, which is a trust decision rather than a convenience one, and it is made on reviews, real job photos and whether the quote process sounds organised.

The housing stock matters more here than in most of Perth. A lot of these suburbs were built out between the 1960s and the 1980s, which sets the work: reroofing, rewiring, repiping, renovating, and the retaining and fencing that comes with blocks being subdivided. A site that names the era and the problem rings true to somebody who lives in one of those houses.

It is also worth knowing that the City of Stirling covers both this catchment and the Osborne Park commercial strip. If you sell to homeowners here and to trade accounts there, those are two different pages — our Osborne Park page covers the commercial side.

What actually matters for a Stirling website

A residential catchment, not a strip

Balcatta, Karrinyup, Innaloo, Gwelup, Dianella, Yokine. The customer is a homeowner and the job is at their place, so the site sells trust and a clear quote process rather than opening hours and parking.

Housing with a known age

A great deal of it went up between the sixties and the eighties, which decides the work: roofs, wiring, plumbing, renovation, subdivision. Naming that on your site reads as local knowledge, because it is.

Reviews carry the decision

Somebody letting a stranger into the house checks the reviews before anything else, which makes a steady review habit worth more here than a redesign — see Google Business Profile management. Saying you have dealt with City of Stirling approvals before helps for the same reason: it costs nothing and separates you from the metro-wide crowd.

Stirling questions

Do you have an office in Stirling?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise. PC Madness has one address, the shopfront at 2C Stafford Street in Midland. What we have in Stirling is a designer who lives here, which means a coffee locally is easy and we are not making you drive across town for a first meeting. Anywhere that suits you is fine — most of the project runs by phone and screen share regardless.
Is Stirling different from Osborne Park for a trade business?
Commercially, very. They are the same council but not the same market. Osborne Park is showrooms, trade counters and passing traffic, where the customer is often deciding whether to drive another two minutes. Stirling behind it is houses, where the customer is deciding whether to let you in the door. If you sell to both, you need a page for each — and our Osborne Park page covers that side.
Should I target Stirling, or the individual suburbs?
Both, and in a particular order. "Stirling" is what people type when they mean the general area, so it is worth owning, but the money is usually in the individual suburb terms: Balcatta, Karrinyup, Innaloo, Gwelup. Those have less competition and far clearer intent. Build the area page first as the hub and hang the suburb pages off it, and only build a suburb page if you can write something true about that suburb.
We work all over the northern suburbs. Is a Stirling page too narrow?
It is narrow on purpose, and that is what makes it rank. A page saying you service all of Perth competes with every business in Perth and wins nothing. A page about Stirling and the suburbs around it competes with the handful of trades who bothered, and it still tells a customer in Wanneroo that you exist. Nobody has ever failed to ring a tradie because the website mentioned the wrong suburb.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, and locally. That is the practical point of this page: one of the designers is in the area, so a coffee in Stirling or Innaloo does not need to be scheduled around a drive from Midland. If you would rather come to the Midland shop, that works too. Say which you prefer when you get in touch.
